Blog

Hi, Sarah here.

I want to use the blog to let you know about what's going on at Inky Doodles, in my head and in the wider world of stamping and papercraft so that you too can be inspired and create something amazing!

With the help of the wonderful Caroline Shinnie I hope to be able to show a card or project with instructions most days.

  1. In this video I show you a clever inking technique called "Rock and Roll", but we don't stop there I've also stamped on my stamps to great effect.  I've used stamps from the Designer Trees set and also Perfect Paisley but this technique works well with any solid image.  All products available from www.inkydoodles.co.uk

  2. A really easy card using a simple masking technique, this was one of the demos I had planned for Create and Craft but just ran out of time on the show.  It uses the Woolly Words and Groovy Baby  stamp sets both available from www.inkydoodles.co.uk and a selection of Memento inkpads also available from the website. I hope you enjoy it!

  3. I've been playing with my new stamp design samples which arrived yesterday, naughty really becasue I still don't have many samples of the previous "new" designs.   So many stamps, so little time!!  I have sent out lots of stamps to DT members over the last few days, so hopefully I will have some lovely, inspiring sample cards to post soon.  Sorry about the confusing state of the website at the moment, the featured and new designs are a bit out of date but I just haven't had the time to sort it out yet.  Hopefully after the Create and Craft show on Monday (3 pm) I will have a little more time to get stuck in and get more organised.

Anyway the reason for the blogpost, I wanted to share a sneaky peek of the  very latest sets which should be out in a couple of weeks.   For those of you who just had to have Primitive Angel, you'll be happy to hear that Primitive Angel 2 is on the way. Yay!!

And here's a lovely little A6 set, no name as yet, but definitely one for the boys, both big and small.

I'm really excited about these new designs and hope you will be too.  They should be available in 2-3 weeks, I'll try and keep you posted.

Anyway off to try and do some more prep for Monday, looking forward to working with Dean again, I do hope he behaves himself!

    Sarah x
